This is a coveted, nationally-recognized honor; at that time, there were just three exclusive certified SC communities: Kiawah, Callawassie, and Briarcliff Acres. Fripp Island was fourth in the state of South Carolina to be named. Today we find six Certified Community Wildlife Habitats in SC and 135 across the nation.
