The purpose of the Fripp Island Architectural Review Board (ARB) is to implement the covenants and carry forth responsibility of design review as set forth in the Restrictive Covenants of Fripp Island.
The purpose of the committee is to review and hold hearings, when deemed necessary, to consider the facts, and circumstances giving rise to the appeal, and the rule, regulation, or policy under which a citation was issued.
To create a process to integrate new property owners into the community and establish a sense of community among all property owners in the Fripp Island community.
The purpose of the committee is to create the Nominee Application, ballots and help the General Manager with setting the election schedule. The committee is also responsible for communication before and during the election process.
Provide financial guidance and support to the FIPOA Board and other committees. Update FIPOA Financial Policies and Procedures to reflect recent By-Law (and other) changes, and submit to FIPOA Board for approval. Review Investment strategy, in light of present and projected future reserve levels. Continue to improve and streamline FIPOA financial procedures, budgeting processes, and internal controls.
To create a task force liaison between the FIPOA and FIR (Fripp Island Resort) on communications and matters of mutual concern.
To provide the General Manager with general oversight of the roads and drainage concerns on Fripp Island, and to ensure that such roads and drainage systems are in a state of good repair, and to make recommendations on the long-term care and maintenance of such roads and drainage systems.
The FIPOA RPOTF will undertake oversight and review of the Front Island Road Protection Projects (Phase 1, 2 and 3) and will provide the FIPOA Finance Committee, FIPOA Board of Directors, and the FIPOA Membership with monthly project progress reports regarding all expenditures and the overall status of the projects, including completion timelines.
To provide the General Manager and FIPOA Board of Directors with general oversite of the shoreline concerns of Fripp Island to ensure that shoreline items such as access, dunes, and coastal flooding/erosion issues are being maintained/addressed and to make recommendations for long term care and solutions.
To provide the General Manager and the Board of Directors with a long term vision of the future of Fripp Island.
The purpose of the Wildlife, Environmental and Grounds Committee is to support the General Manager and the Board of Directors in pursuing the education of FIPOA Members and guests regarding wildlife and the environment, including cleanliness, health, and safety of our beach.
