Please complete this questionnaire if you are interested in playing an important role in the activities of Ventana Homeowners Association.
I would like to work on the following committee (
in order of preference):

1. Architectural Control Committee. Reviewing of applications for architectural changes requested by homeowners (patios, awnings, dog runs, fences, etc.), recommending approval or rejection to the Board of Directors). This committee is vital in preserving the architectural integrity of the community and maintaining property values.

2. Landscape Committee. Works with the management agent and the board to write specifications for landscape contracts, evaluate formal landscaping bids, reviews landscaping needs of each phase and makes appropriate recommendations to the Board of Directors. This committee plays a key role in the aesthetic appeal of the community.

3. Newsletter Committee. A vital link in the network of communications between the board and the homeowners. This committee reports on decisions made by the board or committees that affect the membership, upcoming social events, and new owners. Creative individuals like this position. Can be used to advertise local services within the subdivision.

4. Social/ Committee. Plans community activities i.e. Easter-egg hunts, Christmas caroling, block party barbecues, subdivision garage sales, welcomes and educates new members and works closely with the newsletter committee and management agent on recreation expense budget. Social interaction brings about a spirit of teamwork.

5. Helping Hands Committee. This committee is composed of homeowner willing to offer their talents, supplies, or labor to improve the common areas i.e. staining of fence, Christmas lights, or on-call activities, where just a few hours are needed at a time. Purpose of committee is to reduce expenses!
